Where to Stay

We have stayed at two different hotels on different trips.  Both are nice.  The Best Western has slightly better rates and both have Wi-Fi for those internet weather briefings.

The Marriott Courtyard at Lake Powell is on the outskirts of the city towards the Glen Canyon Dam and is a wonderful Marriott Courtyard with good rates, a great restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, a pool, and nice southwestern motif.

We have also stayed at the Best Western at Lake Powell and it is also a very nice Best Western.  It is only 1 mile from the airport and within walking distance to shops and restaurants.
