We had a wonderful turnout of Mooneys at Santa Ynez, CA on Saturday, June
28. This was the first time we flew into Santa Ynez, and it is truly one of
the prettiest General Aviation airports in the state of California, nestled
in the hills and a beautiful wine valley.
The weather was 100% sunny and extreme VFR and the temperatures were
perfect. We had several new Mooney pilots join us which is always
exciting.
Long time VMG'er Joe Aldendifer hosted his first fly-in and made it a picnic
lunch. Joe provided all the food & drink. After telling Mooney
tales on the ramp all morning, having the picnic lunch in the shaded grass
area overlooking the ramp, several folks walked into town and/or tasted wine
next door.
A Huge Mooney Thank You to Joe Aldendifer!!!
See you at our
next fly-in!
